The buffet has many options. They give BIG portions, for a reasonable price.

Food is always good and the staff is always kind. They move quickly too so the wait is never long.

The best oyster po boy in the East, maybe even NOLA. The french bread was so fresh.

We stumbled upon this place driving through neighborhood. The buffet is clean and generous portions.

In this family, we are all about generous portions and quality food.

Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, bread pudding, red beans are a must.

We were thoroughly impressed with the entire meal.

We pick up from here at least twice a week. A lot of food on the plate. Nice anytime deals and treats are also sold. Never too long of a wait. I have never stayed and eat but my husband does all the time on his lunch break.

Don't let the picture attached fool you- it looks like a convenience store on the inside with a food bar inside- we got 2 grilled shrimp plates w fried rice- the food was really good- the staff not really pleasant at all- didn't acknowledge us until I asked a question- the grilled shrimp too almost 15mins to get- but was worth it- give it try if youre passing through just be prepared

The shrimp and oysters po-boys are the best. Everytime we come into town from Texas, it's a-must that we stop at Bullard Seafood and Grill.

A hidden gem in the east. The food is great and the the portions are more than plenty to fill you up. The prices are extremely reasonable. $10 gets you a huge plate and a drink. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Would recommend to anyone who is hungry and doesn't want to spend a fortune to fill up.

My family loves their gumbo so we stopped by after the Saints game....
It was worth the detour going home. The garlic broccoli was great and I hate I didn’t get two containers of gumbo! I will be back.

Can find a better place to eat and can't beat the prices and service.

I'm going to go out on a reach and say they have the best fried chicken in the East. The wings are always HUGE and tasty. You can't go wrong with the cornbread or Cajun pasta either.

The food here I have to say is really good and affordable! Food always hot! &a; fast service

Everything they serve is bomb! Over stuffed plates for 7.99 worth every penny. The line is usually long but that tells you right there the food be rolling and you be in and out plus everyone is nice

  • *****

great food! nice staff! gumbo here is legit

The po boys here are super delicious. If you have a big group of people order different types of po boy so everyone can enjoy a little of each. Highly recommend for anyone who's looking for a place to eat in New Orleans.

Absolutely phenomenal - you wouldn't think so by the atmosphere, but absolutely phenomenal. You can't find this quality and quantity of food anywhere for these prices. Catfish, cabbage, potatoes, honey chicken and shrimp fried rice.

With my first time being in NOLA, this was the best first experience of delicious and great food. Don't pay attention to the location, because looks can be deceiving. The stuffed Bell peppers with shrimp was excellent. The Cajun potatoes salad was so good, I will be back for more. I will stop to eat again again before I go home. Service was excellent too!

This place is a cafeteria diner. It reminds me of a soul food restaurant in Texas called Sweet Georgia Brown, but with better decor and facilities. You can walk through the line and select options for entree, sides and dessert. You may also order off the menu. We ordered, fried oysters, fried catfish, baked catfish, mashed potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, pasta side dish, roasted potatoes and green beans. Cornbread was extra at 75 cents. Everything was delicious except the fried oysters. The batter used for the oysters was different than that used for the catfish. The oyster was more battered versus breaded. If the batter for the oysters was the same as the catfish, they probably would have tasted great. Dinner with one entree and 2- meat platter was $13.99 with 2 sides.

Definitely worth a visit for delicious food.

We found this place when heading back to the city after a swamp tour in Slidell. Definitely got a bit of that hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, but the food is absolutely delicious. We didn't take pictures because we were so hungry when we sat down, but portions are generous, as other reviewers have mentioned. Largest po-boys in town and overflowing portions of main + sides... My favorite item was the crawfish boudin--great flavor and just the slightest kick. The cabbage side was also surprisingly a highlight of my meal. Highly recommend this joint to satisfy your Cajun craving.

In town for concerts, and this has been the only place I've eaten at all week. With shrimp po' boys this amazing, I don't see the need to drive downtown into the chaos. The pork boudin is also stellar, as is the potato salad. The boudin has a very subtle flavor and a perfect texture, and the potato salad has a nice little kick to it without being overwhelming. Definitely give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

The food there is excellent. There are many items to choose from. The portions are HUGE. And the prices are low :) best deal that I always get there is their $7.99 entree meal that comes with a main entree and two sides. Space is cafeteria-like, the workers are diverse and they're swift and focused. Fast paced service, they never disappoint me.

I don't normally leave reviews but in this case I felt compelled too. I went In around lunch time and the young served told me I could get one main with 2 sides for $7.99. I ordered the chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and shrimp pasta. It was delicious. My daughter is a VERY picky eater and she tends to not like anything lol but she loved it here. Especially their shrimp pasta. I was pleasantly surprised. We definitely recommend

I live in the area but almost never drive on Bullard north of the I-10, so I didn't know they were there until I found them on Yelp. I had the ribs. VERY good and tender. Fell off the bones. Haven't tried their seafood po-boys yet. But will certainly visit again.
